Everyone is totally missing the real point.At the same time jobs were leaving the northern states,the “Christian” right became a growing movement in these same states.These were the people that came out “in force” against Clinton.It was said that 42% of women voted for Trump;I can almost guarantee that 70–80% of those were members of the “right wing Evangelicals”.They didn’t come out so much in 2012 because some of them said they couldn’t in “good conscience” vote for a “Mormon”(most “Christian” right people believe that the latter Day Saints are a cult).
