All I’m hearing is “if a Dem did it, it’s bad, if a Rep did it, it’s good.”

We can do better than that!

Can you actually come up with any reference that proves the economy didn’t create 10 million jobs? Seems like a solid fact to just say didn’t happen. If you care to look into the data (without conservative lies or liberal exaggerations) poke around here: https://data.bls.gov/pdq/SurveyOutputServlet?request_action=wh&graph_name=CE_cesbref1

Obama himself did tout the 15 million jobs the country gained, which is accurate if the facts are skewed in his favor (of course he did this, conservatives do the same so I won’t blame him for it). In actuality it comes to be something over 9.35 million jobs gained (I imagine we aren’t going to get into a heated debate over rounding 9.35 to 10 as a matter of colloquialism.)

Basically he said 15 million gained because the lowest point of his presidency’s job outlook was obviously spring of 2010, which may have been admittedly inherited but I still don’t like him presenting it as he did. By the same metric, Bush would have gained us 7.5 million jobs as opposed to the actual 6 million jobs. The pick-and-choosing for Bush presents a less exaggerated outcome, of course.

The economy adding 10 million jobs isn’t really negotiable (meh, 9.35, whatever), but if you have facts and figures that back up the rhetoric you just posted, I’d love to add it to my arsenal of things I bring up to attack Obama.
