For quite some time, I’ve been fascinated with the network of TEDx organizers around the world. We dedicate hours and hours of time to produce events. We deal with the myriad of issues related to event production. We lead teams of incredibly intelligent and talented people. Most of us have never met face-to-face yet we forge friendships that span the globe. There’s a small TEDx staff that helps manage the interactions of thousands of TEDx curators. Much of this is possible because of the digital networking capabilities we have at our fingertips. TEDx has resulted in thousands of events in more than 170 countries (nearly 14,000 at last count), tens of thousands of people on our stages, hundreds of thousands attending in person and millions viewing the videos we produce. An incredible testimony to the power of networking.
