MENRI MONASTERY

Himachal Pradesh blessed with so many magical places which attracts everyone from across the world.
I also had miraculous experience to visit a place which was full of placidity and exquisiteness.

" A Monastery"

Bewitching place "Menri monastery" located in an unknown corner of the Solan District.
The (Bompa house for research scholar)monastery is located at Dolanji (Solan)
We luckily reached there though we had no plans to go. We asked to villagers is there any place to see, they recommended there is a MONASTERY. And one shopkeeper asked his little son to guide us. He was so happy to sit with us and he took us to that place.
The vehicle goes straight to the monastery compound. We reached that heaven like place with our eyes wide open.
Two parts of monastery were there one is for boys called monks, up the hills and other was for girls called nuns monastery across the river .
Nine kilometer bumpy ride inside the beautiful village took us to the monastery.

The inside view of the monastery was mesmerizing. Wooden study tables were across the hall. Paintings on walls in a beautiful pattern was giving it a poetic appearance. One can even stay at the monastery but that requires permission from the authorities.
The bright colours and architecture were strikingly beautiful. Those Bompas make yellow look as calm as their persona. Not one bit disturbing to the eyes, peaceful atmosphere, disciplined disciples, neatness.

The antiques in monastery were so unique and beautiful. The statue of Buddha was full adorableness. Senior monks were teaching the disciples and the lessons or mantras they were chanting were full of divine vibes.
The books they carried were in different language, we had no idea what was that, we asked to one disciple, what they are teaching, he smiled and said politely ," we are not allowed to tell anything" .

The innocent disciples welcomed everyone there whole heartedly. Their faces were so innocent. They offered us tea and told so many things about monastery.
It was really rememberable visit. Though it is not famous place but worth seeing.
