I was at my window, staring at the sea
My light pink frock, kept playing behind me.
She called out to me, rhythmically with the waves
Who was I to resit, I ran down the beach.
Skipping into a jig, light on my toes
I kicked many pebbles, all along the shore.
She invited me in to ride on the green
Tumbling along, I made myself at home.
The sparkles on the waves, they shine bright
All along the white surf, many sparkles ride.

Sun said goodbye, dusk turned to night,
Twinkling by moonlight, Sea, she brought me home
I saw the waves and wondered aloud
Where all the sparkles still came from!
Sea, she chortled and made me look up
The city lights, they were up on my window
City lights, they play and dance
On those many waves that she,Sea, brings
My window and the Sea, they play -
Many games of hide and seek!
