So glad you’re following up on Kaufman and Allen. This seems a lot to start with! Should you start falling back, do bring down the target. And I mean waaaay down.
Eg, if you decide to workout 3 times a week, each session 1.5 hours, and you’ve only been able to make time for two, for the third session just aim to do ONE PUSHUP and come out. That’s how low the micro goal needs to be.
If you step in and come out after just one pushup because you hadn’t managed your time well, you’ll begin creating more wiggle room for the third day.
The practical challenge now is to set mircogoals in wiggle rooms and open them up as you’re getting the habit of sticking through!
