Reversim Summit 2017: Numbers and Stats
Reversim Summit is a community driven, not for profit, yearly conference for software developers, product managers and everyone else in the software creation sphere in Israel. It is reputed with its original high quality local content.
2017 is the fifth year that this conference is taking place; First was 2013, then 2014, 2015, 2016 and now 2017.
Reversim Summit originates from the popular software development podcast Reversim created by Ori Lahav and myself.
This year the conference took place at The College of Management in Rishon Le-Zion, Israel October 15th, 16th 2017.
We wanted to share a few numbers and stats for the benefit of the community.
People
- Attendance Day 1: 825 purchased, 665 registered at desk (81%)
- Attendance Day 2: 800 tickets, 485 registered at desk (61%)
- Total attendance: 1047 tickets, 932 registered at desk 89%
- 19% women
- 2 babies < 3 months
- 2 children ≥ 3 months and < 10 years

- Day 1: 247 feedbacks
- Day 2: 170 feedbacks
- Total: 417

- Submissions: 339
- Accepted: 56 (14 ignites, 10 open source, 32 full)
- Women speakers — 18% (11 out of 61 total speakers)

- Tickets admissions donated to The Public Knowledge Workshop: 69k ILS
