What We Worry About When We’re No Longer Broke
Nicole Dieker

Apart from vaguely worrying about being accidentally dismembered and permanently disabled, I don’t really worry about not having enough money. There’s always been enough for my needs with more than enough left over for wants. I’ve been fortunate that I had frugal parents who saved diligently and didn’t feel the need to impress other people with ostentatious displays of wealth.

Eventually I’d like to get to Forrest Gump levels of non-worry (“one less thang!”), so I guess my anxiety around money is more along the lines of “when can I get to that level?”
