What is your role at RareMint?: Director of Digital
What’s the most exciting part of your job? The most exciting part of my job is discovering the process. Learning how objects and materials react to light and how those textures and colors translate into our experience of them. This process is truly a combination of science and art that connects us to the physical and brings us into a digital world.
How did you get into Blockchain in the first place? I am very new to Blockchain, but the technology has always interested me and it will play a big role in the future of industry and life in general, so I am excited to be a part of this industry now.
What is your favorite NFT collection and why? I really like the Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth signed Baseball. I think the story behind it is amazing and the fact that it is a Home run ball that has signatures of some of the most legendary players makes it incredibly rare. When I was working with it I could just feel the history and seeing it come to life in the digital form was really special.
Are you a sports fan? Who are your favorite teams? Of Course, I grew up with Baseball and Soccer for us in the USA. One of my heroes was Pelé. I was blown away by his creativity and precise ability to move the ball down the field. He made everyone else seem like they were standing still.
What’s one thing you’re really bad at? Letting go of perfection.
What’s one thing you’re really good at? Stressing out over the details.
What do you enjoy most about working at RareMint? I feel incredibly blessed to be working with this team and the amount of effort and care they bring to everything. That probably sounds corny but I really believe in teamwork and it seems like I am not alone on that front.
Lastly, what’s your idea of a perfect day? Waking up somewhere beautiful by the beach or deep in the forest and having an adventure with friends, exploring and sharing time in nature. Oh and capturing a lot of it with a camera and creating some art along the way.
