It’s no secret that the app development world has changed dramatically in the last few years. There are more users, more competition, and more developers with different skill sets to contend with than ever before. With all these changes, it’s easy to focus on the good parts of app development and gloss over some of the ugly sides that don’t always get the spotlight. Even if you manage to get a ton of downloads for your app, getting great reviews is much harder. It’s important that you’re sending quality traffic to your listing so it shows up in search results. Think about what keywords people would use to find your app — and base all your marketing efforts around that phrase. Then sit back and wait for Google and Apple to do their magic! If it takes a little bit too long, don’t be afraid to tweak things; after all, that search optimization doesn’t happen overnight!
