1. Free Code Camp

Free Code Camp is an open source community that teaches you how to code from scratch and get a job as a developer. This nonprofit online community includes over 100 projects that teach HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, and more. You’ll be able to build apps, create websites, and even do some data science. All of their projects are self-guided and self-paced — so if you have a few hours in your day or just 10 minutes here and there — you can learn at your own pace without deadlines.

2. Udacity

Udacity teaches its students with a mix of video, text and interactive tools. With Nanodegrees — similar to career advancement certificates — the platform provides in-depth lessons, projects and mentorships in major tech sectors like front end development, mobile app development and full stack engineering. Courses cost $200-$300 per month, depending on your program. The company was founded by former Google engineers who wanted to democratize education in emerging tech fields.
