Life of This world
All of us at least once in our life feel stuck like nothing is working out for us we lose all hopes it seems like this dark pit of hollowness that resides in us will consume us and pain will never end.
why do we feel like that ??
even though we rationally know that this is a temporary world that will end one day all of us will be gone from here one or another day.
at some time we feel that if we achieve a particular worldly success i.e getting a dream job or starting a new business or getting the love of a certain person we will be forever happy, but as soon as we achieve that success we get disappointed because we are not getting that internal satisfaction that we projected in our imagination earlier.
are we really moving into the right direction?
what is the exact purpose of this life?
Then one day we realize that everything about this life is about surrender we have very minimal control over the outcomes but we want more control which is the main reason we are less happy always comparing ourselves with others.
We need to realize that this life is a gift from the Lord of the All Worlds and he made this world only for the test.
He(the most glorified, the highest) says in the glorious Quran:
˹He is the One˺ Who created death and life in order to test which of you is best in deeds. And He is the Almighty, All-Forgiving.[67:2]
He also gave us the antidote of a peaceful heart :
Surely in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find comfort.[13:28]
He being most merciful gave us the reason for being miserable in this temporary world:
But whoever turns away from My Reminder will certainly have a miserable life[20:124]
He who created everything including time says this worldly life is just a game:
This worldly life is no more than play and amusement. But the Hereafter is indeed real life, if only they knew. [29:64]
May Allah guide us on the straight path and let us a live life full of ambition about the next life which is truly real-life and safeguard us from the temptations of this illusory world.
