Confessions of a dying lady…

“Death is the wish of some, the relief of many and the end of all”

Journey of a girl is so beautiful. She brings happiness in the family when she’s born. Her eyes twinkling like stars in the sky wanting to say so many things. Her cry sounds like a song for she’s calm when she’s near her mom. When a man looks at her new born daughter he forgets all his worries. She’s born as a doll and grows to be a princess of her family. But she’s born to be unborn and lives half of her life sacrificing for others!

As a child she loved that pink frock made of satin and silk, she cried “daddy, I want that pink frock.” Daddy said “sorry my dear we will buy it next time I have to buy medicines for your younger brother”!

Then she grew up to be a teenager she saw her friend riding a scooter, she wanted one too… but daddy said “no my dear I have enough money for you and your brothers education and can’t afford more” she worked hard and her results were better than her brother!

Now she wanted to be an astronaut “wow!! What an ambition?”said daddy! “But I think you have to earn your own money for I saved some money only for your wedding!” Well well she said and walked the wedding rituals with a smile, for that’s what her family wanted her to do…

After the wedding she thought she will get all that she wanted, she thought her husband was a man who would fulfil all her dreams since her daddy couldn’t fulfil all of them?! She dressed up like a queen, cooked him the best meals and kept him happy always always…!! Is this the end? No! My dear reader not so soon…

She gave birth to her children, took care of them so well oh my! Now she’s a mother and always will be.. she wanted her kids to be the best, showing off their skills to her family and friends made her proud.

Neglecting her health forgetting her ambitions she ran through the journey to become a lady who had a dream to fulfil her children’s dream…

She worked hard and hard to make them (children) successful. “What more do I need?”she told herself as if she’s fulfilled all her dreams. Is this the end? Yes…Oh!dear lord don’t do this to her…she’s still not bought that pink frock, scooter for herself, her ambition to be an astronaut is still pending, for her husband and children sat by her deathbed.. “what’s your last wish my dear?” her husband asks. She answered in a low voice “I still want to live to see you all happy!”. All of them were in tears, she whispered in her daughter’s ears “don’t sacrifice your life my dear,do all that you have dreamt about and live your life to the fullest!”

The End.
