This is pretty great Tim!

One of the negative things about content creation is how many CMOs and entrepreneurs fail to realise the sheer effort this requires to write a good piece of content.

Many pay ridiculously low and see content writers take up their work as well. I am genuinely shocked.

Also, when you are a part of a large organization with a CMO in place, they fail to realise that everyone has their own unique style and panache. I personally faced a bad situation where every department had something to say about a blog I wrote. Sales department wanted it to be more sales-ish, customer service department wanted it more like a fact, the tech team didn’t care and the founder wanted it like an inspiring story. My justifications for each of them came across as arrogant and inexperienced.

Time and again, these experiences have reinforced the fact that content writers are abused a lot.

While some consider the importance of good content and give the freedom to experiment, are true gems to work for.

Have you ever been in an unpleasant situation I mentioned above?
