Yellow Teeth
RashRitwik

No matter how hard I try,
There's always some of you left behind.
Leave me alone, don't pry.
Just for once, elude my mind.

Some say you aren't there;
Some say you're yellow like a star.
But I don't need to compare,
Because I know what you really are.

Brush brush brush is what I do.
God knows I've tried.
Stop playing peek-a-boo,
All this time keeping me occupied.

I want you out of my system.
You're too obstructive.
But please help my wisdom,
Tell me what's your motive?

Although, we've formed an association.
The world finds you affable,
Unaware of any information
Of your venom that's ineffable.

I ponder over the riddle;
Because every glance in the mirror
Reminds me how I'd giggle
When I knew not of your horror.

I'm told there's a fix.
One that's not ephemeral.
But is it worth all the kicks?
Which will usher me after your removal?

Help me please, someone.
I can't seem to find a sheath.
A nostrum to this illusion.
My ugly yellow teeth.
