
“Be in the moment”
Have you ever heard be in the moment. What does that even mean? We are always in control of our actions, and aware of what is going on but we live in the age of technology and distractions. Tons of impression are processed in our head. Keeping your focus steady can be hard.
Honestly, I can only speak for myself but sometimes I even force myself to pay attention to what someone says not becouse I dont find them interesting or what they say interesting but becouse inside my mind i have already wondered off into other thoughts. The mind works in curious ways and is easily distracted. If you have anxiety or stress in your life and if you continually live with it but never acctuly make any progress or decide what to do about it. This might seem rough but some uf us are not even aware of it while some of us walk around with ALOT of problems in their baggage and this can be any anything from looks to wealth. Basically anything that you care enough about. An action or attribute that is hard for your mind to justify or accept.
Theese problems keep showing up in our thoughts and makes us constantly reminded of our flaws, seemingly nothing to do about it. Weighing you down. I just want to make an example for thoose of you who dont have this problem. Imagine yourself having a conversation with an old freind trying to have a good time. Every other second you are reminded about ohh I have no money or ohh i need to do this. You push away theese thoughts each time they show up, which makes up for an extremely exhausting moment. Which in the long run contributes to you wanting to isolate yourself. I been in this situation a million times. I know. It is tough and the reality is noone likes a martyr that feels sorry for themselves either, the world likes positive confident young men and women approaching life with a smile.

To thoose who are likeminded. Just like we need to excersice our bodies we need to excersice our mind. If i could recommend 1 habit that will transform your life to have more well being, happieness, energy and less anxiety.
I am not joking, Meditation has over 100 scientific positive benefits. Studies show that meditation alone was found to be more effective treating anxiety and depression than any antidepressant drug. Meditation is training. Training in the form of dealing with negative thoughts permanently. By finding a solution to your problems or accepting your flaws. When i say be in the moment i mean dont zone out, or dont get to much in your head. Focus less on what’s going on in your mind and more on what’s going on in the room, less on your mental chatter and more on what you are experiencing. I think you are familiar with big companies like Apple and Google even some bigger schools in problemareas have recently implemented meditation in their schedules. And its benefits seem to be felt after a relatively short amount of practice, so if you can relate to my problems you should definently give it a try, i think it is time.
