Being spiritual to me is more important than being religious.
Religion is living vicariously through someone else’s experience of "God" (or whatever you want to call it, nature, the universe, the big thing).
Spirituality is having your own transcendent experience ( They’re for everyone). Spiritual extends to all facets of a person’s life. Spirituality is chosen while religion is often forced.
Spirituality is the recognition of a feeling or sense or belief that there is something greater than oneself.

Earth, water, fire, air and space are the elements of spirituality. Knowledge of the five elements allows a person to understand the laws of nature and helps to attain great health, power, knowledge, wisdom and happiness. Relationship, values and life purpose are the aspects of spirituality.

A spiritual journey would take to find out who you are, what your problems are in life and how to come to peace with the world. The purpose of a spiritual journey is a process of continually asking questions and it is rare to find an answer.
• Positive thinking
• Inner peace
• Egoless
• Unconditional love
• Optimism
• Harmony
• Humility
• Resposibility
• Compassion
• Justice
• Simplicity and reciprocity are the qualities that a spiritual person can earn via a spiritual journey.

Spirituality needs a consistent practice by which we can connect ourselves with the superior power. Surrender ourselves to the superior power, take a deep breath, meditate to listen to the message, pray and ask for help, develop a gratitude practice, journal your heart out and take care of your body.

Spiritual experiences can be helpful to cope with feelings of stress, anxiety and depression, to restore hope and optimism. Spirituality also helps people to develop a more hopeful outlook in life.
