People think that using a top sheet is like putting an extra layer on the bed but it is not like that. If we use a flat sheet it means we have an extra layer of comfort and softness on our bed. It is a sign of luxury bedding.

Duvet or duvet cover is heavy material we cannot use heavy bedding accessories during hot nights but top sheet is the best option because due to lightweight it is breathable and it passes hot air out in case of duvet or comforter it becomes hotter. We can use a flat sheet only then.

We can wash flat sheets with regular clothes in the machine. It doesn’t get that heavy after getting wet as duvet or comforter become. Washing comforter and duvet is heavy work of washing but in case of a flat sheet or top sheet it is so easy and it is the advantage of it that we can wash it in the washing machine. We can wash flat sheet many times because it is easy but duvet or comforter washing is heavy so, start using flat sheet protect your duvet or comforter reduce the burden of laundry.
