I wonder if iOS users have higher standards for apps. The app store on iOS is highly curated to reduce the amount of poorly designed applications, where Android allows more freedom for developers to submit whatever they want. iOS users are expecting an app that “just works,” where android users might be comfortable figuring out an app that doesn’t seem intuitive on first glance.

This is not to say that one group is better or worse, but I would argue that a platform that prioritizes ease of use will naturally draw users who have less patience for figuring out technology problems, and those who want a high quality experience.
