Missing RavenQuest, Adventurers?! It’s time to stay up to date with our latest updates and ease that longing! ✨

Since the Closed Beta, we’ve been actively immersed in the development of the Raven Universe, working on several additions and changes to provide you with an exceptional gaming experience, which has always been and always will be our goal!

In this Developer Updates, we will share some of the major new features, additions, and changes that our team has been relentlessly working to pave the way for our Open Beta — which is getting closer and closer! 😍

As always, we focused on gameplay mechanics that significantly enhance the game experience, and we are sure that your adventure within the world of RavenQuest will be more rewarding than ever with the new Artifact System, the new Marketplace, Aether Stones, the improvements in the UI and several other additions!

Let’s deep dive into the new updates of RavenQuest?! 🚀

💎 Artifacts System

Rare and sought-after, Artifacts are veiled in mystery, awaiting for you to uncover them!

Artifacts are collectible treasures of mystical wonder, highly coveted for their power to unveil new adventures, fresh trade opportunities with NPCs, and concealed secrets!

This new system was introduced to RavenQuest to enrich and reward map exploration. As you progress your character, explore the world and engage in various activities within the Ravendawn Universe, you will obtain and collect some of them. However, you won’t use them as equipment or trinkets; instead, these items act as prerequisites for unlocking specific rewards that will enhance your gaming experience.

Each region of Ravendawn has its own set of Artifacts, and you can easily check how to obtain them and what their rewards are, as well as track your progress in each of the following regions by opening the new window Journals:

But there’s more to discover! In an upcoming exclusive article, we’ll showcase the Artifacts that are waiting to be found in each one of the regions, as well as list some of the extraordinary benefits they bring! Get ready for an in-depth exploration that will set you on the path to becoming a seasoned Artifact hunter! 🤠

🪙 In-Game Marketplace

Yes, the Marketplace is finally here! This feature was highly requested by you to facilitate trading between players, and we know the importance of it to test the in-game economy and to enrich the overall gaming experience. Therefore, we are happy to announce that you will be able to immerse yourself in the Marketplace like a true merchant in the next Beta! 💰

🗡️ Equipment Requirements & Legacy Level

The introduction of equipment requirements is a strategic measure to ensure game progression maintains its integrity while upholding the innate flexibility of the Archetype System! 🏹

From now on, equipment will have a level requirement to be equipped, which is tied to the Tiers. Once this milestone is reached, you can continue to equip and use gear across various Archetypes, just as originally intended.

With this change, we also renamed the term Character Level to Legacy Level.

Let’s check what are the requirements set for each tier of equipment?

  • Tier 1: Requires Legacy Level 1
  • Tier 2: Requires Legacy Level 10
  • Tier 3: Requires Legacy Level 25
  • Tier 4: Requires Legacy Level 40
  • Tier 5: Requires Legacy Level 55
  • Tier 6: Requires Legacy Level 70

🖼️ UI Additions: Party HUD, BattleList and Infusion Interface!

Our commitment to enhancing the overall user experience is steadfast. Therefore, we’re constantly on the lookout for ways to improve interface design and make your gaming experience even better! 💖

The BattleList is here! Now, choosing your target during battles is a breeze. With the BattleList, you can effortlessly select your primary focus and even keep a close eye on your foe’s health.

But that’s not all — you have the power to customize your battle experience further with handy filters. Tailor the display order on the BattleList to your liking and decide exactly what information you want at your fingertips:

As part of this ongoing effort, we are also excited to introduce a significant addition to the Interface: the Party HUD!

This new interface will make it easier than ever to identify members of your party group, allowing you to quickly track their health and status.

Now, you’ll be able to support your team members more effectively, whether by providing strategic buffs or delivering heals when needed. The Party HUD is a feature designed to enhance coordination and group gameplay, making your adventures in RavenQuest even more exciting and immersive! 🤝

But that’s not all! We also made several improvements to the Infusion tab to make it easier for you to infuse your equipment. With the new Infusion Interface, you can view and select all the equipment and items that you have available to infuse all in one window:

🪄 Quality Crystals

We understand the importance of crafting to ensure that equipment holds significant value in the game. That’s why we’ve been hard at work implementing changes to make Crafting a more engaging experience.

Therefore, we are introducing Quality Crystals, which will add extra Attributes and sub-stats to your items. Let’s dive into the details of these exciting changes?! 🧙

Quality Crystals are added to a piece of equipment through Crafting, and they provide extra Attributes and/or Sub Stats to it. When you craft equipment, instead of the quality bar impacting the Grade of the equipment, it will now give it a Quality Crystal.

Every time the player fills the quality bar up, 1 Quality Crystal will be added to the item. This bar can be filled as many times as you are able throughout a craft. The more times, the more Quality Crystals the item will get. A piece of equipment, however, can only have Quality Crystals up to a certain amount based on its Tier:

  • Tier 1: 1 Quality Crystal
  • Tier 2: 2 Quality Crystals
  • Tier 3: 3 Quality Crystals
  • Tier 4: 5 Quality Crystals
  • Tier 5: 7 Quality Crystals
  • Tier 6: 10 Quality Crystals

Quality Crystal can roll any of the 5 Attributes (Vitality, Might, Dexterity, Intelligence & Wisdom) and any of the Sub-Stats (Weapon Power, Weapon Defense, Spell Power, Spell Defense, Haste, Healing Power, Max Mana, Max Health, Health Regeneration, Mana Regeneration, Precision, Impact).

The quality of the materials used will no longer provide the recipe bonus quality when the craft starts. Instead, it will increase the crit chance on Quality Abilities by up to 25% based on the proportion of quality materials used.

🧙‍♂️ Aether Stones

Venture into a world brimming with magic and mystery, where Aether Stones await discovery and challenge!

These mysterious stones, obtained from the most formidable foes, now play a crucial role in our game. When you defeat creatures, there’s a chance they’ll drop Aether Stones. By interacting with these stones, you unleash an incredible force that floods the battlefield with waves of creatures, and facing these waves is a challenging yet rewarding experience. As you defeat each wave, the stone progressively charges. When the last wave is conquered, the Aether Stone is fully charged and ready to be collected.

However, here’s the intriguing twist: other players may also be interested in the Aether Stones you’ve left behind. They may attempt to steal them from you, adding an element of competition and strategy to the game. This new Aether Stone system adds depth to your journey and offers exciting opportunities for combat and reward. Be prepared to protect your precious stones while also strategically planning when and how to use them to gain the upper hand in your adventure!

This system will not affect the majority of the players, but only those aiming to swap channels and repeat the same events frequently.

(Gameplay) Added a slider for Mass Crafting:

Now, players have the freedom to choose the quantity of items they want to mass craft. The maximum value available on the slider depends on the level of your Profession (increases by 3 for every level above the level to mass craft). Minimum mass craft value is 5, maxing out to the limit of 50.

(Gameplay) Players can no longer choose where they want to respawn when they die. Now, they will always spawn in the current region they are at (or Ravencrest, if they have not enough Level to respawn in that Shrine);
