Nowadays calling 911 with your cellphone is a big limitation because it s doesn’t give the operator your exact location So if you can't talk — which is often the case in a medical emergency or a crime in progress — it may be difficult or impossible for emergency responders to find you in time. That’s why the first piece of information 911 operators ask for from a cell phone caller is their location. And if the call gets dropped, they may never know if you don’t tell them.
Pingmergency is an emergency app that aim to fix the public safety hazard in calling 911 in a cell phone. It’ll turn on your gps location on automatically and use your sim/carrier data to accurately pinpoint your location when you call 911 and ping them your location, it’ll accurately ping the operator your Location and calculate and create the fastest route to you ,the operator will be able to share it with the dispatcher. Another great thing about Pingmergency is Its not only for 911, it work for all kind of emergencies like calling an ambulance or the fire department. You can also give Emergency permissions to certain numbers, there’ll be an extra icon on the contact or caller for those #s , you can write in the ping to describe your emergency (customizable) or quick ping them. Also a quick ping button for each emergencies like being locked of your house you can set it to a number or name to call , if you are sick can call 911 or an ambulance, your personal doctor, and others(which you can name yourself or customized it for different kind of emergencies). You are at a club and feel like you had a lil too much to drink and it’s not safe for you to drive or you don’t have enough money to pay for a taxi , you can make a ping for that , quick ping a friend or a family.
