In every conflict lies the seed of a solution.
— Idries Shah

Let me tell you a story about a guy who left 17 camels to his three kids.

He left half to the oldest son, a third to the second son, and a ninth to his youngest son.

The three sons started arguing because 17 couldn’t be split in half or divided by three or nine. As tensions grew between the brothers, they decided to ask a wise older woman for advice.

After thinking carefully about their problem, the wise old woman came back and said,

“Well, I don’t know whether I can help you, but at least, if you want, you can have my camel. This way, you’ll have 18 camels with you, and it might solve your problem.”

Since half of 18 equals nine, the first son took his share, i.e., 9 camels.
