World’s First Movie

The first movie ever made is called “Roundhay Garden Scene”, directed and produced by French inventor Louis Le Prince at Oakwood Grange in Roundhay, Yorkshire, England.

It was filmed on 14th Oct, 1888 close to 130 years ago featuring Louis Le Prince’s family on the premises of the garden in their home.

The length of this movie is only 2.11 seconds, at best equivalent to a GIF you share in WhatsApp.
