Welcome to the golden month of October! I love watching nature transform itself from summer into winter, and October seems to be the month with the greatest changes. Can we replicate these beautiful changes in our lives this month?

While looking at the list of positive words for October (see below), some words stood out for me.

I hope you’re having a lovely September! The weather has been glorious here in the UK. I’ve been making the most of it by getting out and about as much as I can!

As fall/autumn approaches, we’ll be spending more time indoors and, for me, that means reading more books. With this in mind, this month’s writing prompt is:

September is a new beginning. Summer is slowly changing into fall. A chill appears in the morning air. The children are back at school.

For me, early September is a time to get out my journal and look at my goals for this year. I take some time to appreciate how far I’ve come and to evaluate how much further I have to go.

There are always some goals that I haven’t achieved and, when I look at them, I just don’t feel good about them anymore. In the past, I would feel guilty about this and tell myself I should try harder. Now, I realize that these goals are just not the right ones for me.
