Day 12 of 21 Days Light Vegan

A live blogging story by K.

Day 12

Of course I had to start the day with some melons — my love for galia and cantaloupe is never ending. After a bit of blogging D made me a gorgeous breakfast — papaya boats. If you don’t know about these fruitful heavenly bites of pleasures, check out our version here.

Like most weeks I go round to my parent’s at least once. Family energy is completely different, it has a special aura that nothing else can resembles. It reflects another version of myself that I now consciously see, and it is something I’m learning to take in. I enjoy my family’s company, they are the most loving people I know. My parents are hilarious and their beautiful hearts make me smile all the time. My appreciation for them are infinite like their unconditional love.

Sushi, tofu and vegetables

Every time I go round to my parent’s there’s always gorgeous vegan food on the table. Wouldn’t it be a shame if I didn’t have some?

Not only can I see the love I can definitely taste it too.

I came home to share some of this love with D and we finished off watching Paycheck — a science fiction movie based on a short story by Phillip K. Dick (you might be able to tell already, but I’m becoming a big fan of his). Whilst watching the movie we had some jackfruit, black berries and blueberries for dessert.
