That’s funny. Of course they will “dare” to turn on their radar and shoot US jets out of the sky just like we would (and any AA unit in the world would do to their enemies). It’s SOP in the AA world to NOT turn on or use all units (specifically to conserve the units) this gives the operational capability to use them later as the fight progresses.To think otherwise is to give absolutely no credit to your enemy. Don’t use Iraq as an example of modern warfare.
Trust me, they aren’t as stupid as you think and we certainly do not have the aircraft inventory or the capability to fly infinite waves of F-22’s with HARM missiles in anyone’s airspace for a very long period of time. There’s plenty of mobile AA on all sides to fill the gaps and holes we punch as well. AA missiles are cheap, F-22’s and F-35’s not so much.
