Why Dr. Zakir Naik is a terrorist

Dr. Zakir Naik, a famous controversial televangelist and preacher of the Wahabbi sect of Islam, is notorious for his extremist views including, but not limited to, death for apostates and homosexuals, and sympathy for terrorists.

Dr. Zakir Naik seems to be against every belief system that is not Wahabbism. Dr. Naik has been awarded by the government of Saudi Arabia for his ‘service to Islam’, the same government which is constantly bombing their neighbouring country Yemen.

Though the Wahabbism preacher holds an MBBS degree, his knowledge in the field of medicine is questionable, especially after the website Evidence for God’s Unchanging Word released a video pointing out at least 25 mistakes on evolution by Dr. Naik in just around five minutes. Any person can clearly see how smoothly and shamelessly he lies to innocent gullible people while being well aware that these people trust him so much that they wouldn’t bother to fact check his claims.

Some Islamic scholars have also issued ‘fatwas’ against Dr. Naik, claiming that he ‘misguides Muslims to the wrong path’ and ‘he is unreliable’. Some Muslims from India have also protested against an invitation to Dr. Naik. Qasim Rashid, an Ahmadi author and scholar, has also recently criticized Dr. Naik on his Facebook page calling him a ‘terrorism preacher’ and a ‘scourge on humanity’. That’s not it, the doctor turned televangelist has been always criticized by Muslims and Muslim scholars from time to time. Clearly, he’s a controversial figure, both within and outside the Ummah.

Dr. Zakir Naik has endorsed Osama Bin Laden. In the same speech, he has also claimed that ‘all Muslims should be terrorists’ and has said that ‘even if the whole world is against him [Bin Laden], I’m with him’. He now claims that he was misquoted and the video was doctored, which it clearly isn’t. His lips sync perfectly and this video was from 2006, and during that time, it would require expensive software and hardware to achieve a fraction of the perfection of editing that video as if it’s real. Thus, he is probably lying, that too in the Holy Month of Ramadan. He promotes death for apostasy as well.

Zakir Naik’s channel ‘Peace TV’ was banned in India for allegedly airing ‘malicious anti-India content’. He was also banned from the United Kingdom as well as Canada for his extremist views.

Considering these extremist and pro-terror anti-humanity views of the preacher, Dr. Zakir Naik is apparently a catalyst for Wahabbi terror attacks that happen frequently around the world. His views are dangerous, extremist and not in line with the rest of the civilized world. It is high time that the followers of this extremist preacher introspect themselves and reconsider supporting a dangerous uncivilized terror-supporting lying televangelist.
