I have a friend who once bought a canvas that was paint poured, but then when she discovered how it was made she felt like she was ripped off. It wasn’t “real art,” she said.
Paint pouring may not require the same skills of a traditionally trained artist, but it does require skill, patience, and often a lot of art materials to go through before you get nice results.
And you can take the end product and adapt it to other objects you can sell, like jewelry.
