There’s that one person… that one person who makes you feel like you matter. That one person you miss dearly when you’re not around them. That one person where you feel loved and cared for. That one person who is always beautiful in your eyes. That one person you always think of and dream about. That one person that you wish you could tell them how you feel about them. That one person that you would give your heart.

That one person is a light. A light of hope that keeps you going everyday. Who shows you that you really are important to them. Even when you’re apart and not talking every 10 minutes, you’re connected to them. You laugh with them, talk with them, sing with them, hug them, cry on them, and love them. The love you both have for each other is like a wildfire that always constantly spreads.

So, to the young man who is in love or has that crush, tell her how you feel. Even if it doesn’t work out, you’ll learn a lot about yourself. You’ll come closer to understanding what love truly is and how to love yourself first before giving your all to someone else. Don’t be afraid to be honest.

To the young girl with her eyes set on him, if you need to, tell him how you feel. Often times, he may feel the same way. He’s only nervous, believe me I would know. And if you both end up together, love likes there’s no tomorrow.

Your hearts are now connected. That is love.
