The Age of Apple is Over
Austin Frank

It is difficult to be at the head of the innovation pack with the wolves nipping at your heels. People are fickle. Their philosophy of simple utilitarian design, while somewhat meandering since the death of Steve Jobs, is still in the right place. I think that Apple has yet to design a product that really gets the new generation. Previous products such as the iPod, iPad, iPhone were about capturing the imagination of the GenX/Y crowd (though nowadays I mostly see boomers using iPads). Apple has yet to design a product that resonates with Millennials. They’ll figure it out. Another big hit product and Apple will be back on top where it belongs. I love my Apple products as a GenX developer.
