Publishing scientific images
I spend a lot of time creating images that help me communicate science. I use the images I make in presentations and papers. Recently, I thought that it might be time to start share my illustartions outside the usual medium of papers and presentations. So, I publised my first four illustrations on FigShare!
This is my favorite illustration because I’ve long contemplated how how to illustration molecular variation in the brain. I’m pretty happy with how this turned out. Zoom in to read the letters.
These are two schematics that I made because I wasn’t happy with the images I could find with a google image search. My favorite thing about using Adobe Illustrator to create these vizuals is that I can customize the colors to match color scheme of the figures I generate with computer programs.
This is a series of images I created to show multiple variations of the active place avoidance task.
