1. Undergraduate

· High school diploma with an average score of 4.8;

· SAT Test Results (2010–2300) or ACT (30–34 points), the SAT in the subjects are optional;

· Confirmation of the level of English TOEFL ibt 100 (IELTS test results are not accepted);

· 2 academic recommendations from teachers of different subjects in grades 10–11, additionally, you can still submit a recommendation 1, which differs from the academic;

Campus

The campus study and live around 6260 students and 4762 graduate students (data 2010). Stanford University provides its students with accommodation during the first four years of study. On campus is home to approximately 96% of the students.

The campus of the University includes 80 different residential buildings. The students live in residences or traditional hostels. On the campus there are 15 fraternities and 13 sororities.

At Stanford there are also interest groups — academic, international, political, environmental, religious, ethnic, social, entertainment.

The University goes daily newspaper The Stanford Daily.

At Stanford passes eventful cultural life. On campus is organized every year approximately 100 music, dance and theater shows, which attracted world-famous performers and artists. These events attracted about 30 000 visitors.

Students also conducted master classes, lectures on various kinds of art.

University students are strong in sports, especially in athletics, where 13 teams at Stanford University over the past few years, won three national championships. Stanford employs about 100 coaches, 10 of which have already led his team to first place in the competition organized by the NCAA.

On campus is 50,000-seat stadium, the 6786-yard golf course, a 7329-seat basketball arena, 14 tennis courts, a 2,500-seat complex with 4 pools.

Department of Athletics offers 34 sports disciplines — 18 for women and 15 for men. Every year more than 9000 students participate in domestic competitions University.

Stanford University owns the territory in 8000 acres near the town of Palo Alto, midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles, California.
