The ability as a founder of one of these startups to keep a relentless pulse on their users and market dynamics is all that’s needed. An excellent supporting team can always be built around the product and that individual founder. But the founder and that individual product is absolutely crucial.
After looking through the best consumer facing startups in the last few years, there’s a key metric we’ve noticed: where user acquisition grows over 30% MoM. If there’s a consumer facing startup out there with these qualities, you’ve definitely found something special.
