Some may attribute that Sony is getting too cocky with the console, since the PlayStation 4 is the go to console of the current generation. But that attitude going into the future could hurt Sony, much like the over confidence of the PlayStation 2 hurt the initial announcement and release of the PlayStation 3. When the PlayStation 3 first showed itself off to the world, it was met by criticism- being a more expensive than the Xbox 360 and games would be harder to make on the console because of the eight-core architecture, however, the PS3 managed to stay alive…

From experience working typical part-time and full-time jobs like at a grocery store before, you start to realize how much a company can save by going full automation especially when it was something I was doing. Those jobs can easily be replaced by robots which unfortunately deems the workforce obsolete. Whether it’s stocking shelves at a grocery store or working fast foods restaurants the point is that redundant jobs can be overtaken by machine and turn would be cheaper for a company to do long term, people cost money including benefits and union dues if there are any those things…

The Corona virus has been spreading rapidly over the last two months and with no sight of slowing down the public has been on edge. Infecting eighty-thousand world wide with over three-thousand dead as a result. It’s alarming, but the public should not be worried. Another issue which is coming out of this situation is racism and xenophobia.

As the disease spreads so do the racist undertones that spread alongside. Chinese people, and people of East Asian descent at large, all across the globe are being targeted by prejudice fueled attacks. …

The next generation in gaming is upon us and with the new consoles comes new trends, in this new one, the trend is subscription services, while it has been done before in other mediums like music and movie, for gaming this is the next step. Sony and Microsoft have been planting the seeds for their respective gaming-as-a-service program for Sony PS Now and Microsoft Game Pass, on paper both services do the same thing but in reality, only one of those is dominating the trend and the market. If you get guessed Game Pass you’d be the right one for…

Gaming in 2019 was like any other year, it had very high highs and also very very low lows. We saw a games with huge expectations fall flat on their faces and we saw the opposite of that, we even saw cold reboots from many classic games that gave their franchises new life regardless if it was tapping into the nostalgia reserve, plus many games now have a much longer life span so games that came out a few years back have life in 2019. …

EA and Respawn finally have something good.

This year has been a dry spell of sorts of games, but filled with tons of weird turns though, Gears 5 was a surprising hit being a Microsoft exclusive it helped end the dry spell and start the period of apparently good triple-A games. Even Control, was a pleasant surprise like no game other and even though it didn’t have the same advertising power as some of the other games it, it still had critical acclaim, but Death Stranding which had tons of hype around it ended up being smoke and mirrors sadly and fell short. …

It’s the best Star Wars game that isn’t a Star Wars game

This year has been a strange year for gaming, we’ve had some highly anticipated games like Anthem and Fallout 76 which failed miserably and we’ve had games like Overwatch that is now on basically it’s last legs of relevancy regardless if of how many new characters they add. Even though we’ve had a dry spell of games in 2019 except Apex Legends and the upcoming games in the latter part of the year, gamer’s haven’t enjoyed anything new or refreshing. …

E3 2019 has come and gone, this year like every year was filled with excitement and rumors of what’s coming in the next several months and first looks at games that are already announced.
