I dare you!
The challenge of challenging yourself
I’ve been dreading and, mutually, looking forward to write this post. I mean REALLY willing to write it, like kids craving for holidays.
Repeatedly, the urge for a life change came to my mind and immediately was shut down by a feeling that I should wait for the right time. That and the fears rationality provides us.

But what we often miss is that, also rationally speaking, the response to all of the above is “I can do this. It’ll be okay” and the odds of better things happen are usually higher than bad things.
This could apply to many aspects in life, in my case it relates to work.
I love and value @IBM and despite I appreciate all people I met, things I learned, the good and not so good times… apart of all that, it’s time now for a change. Not because it’s the right time, in fact it’s quite the opposite, I decided to do this because there’s no right time to go after what you want, meaning I’m not simply quitting IBM, I’m actually seeking my next step and I just couldn’t do the way I wanted from where I was.
To be more specific, I will be moving to Porto (Portugal) where I’ll be attending the 2015 Project Management course at PBS as well as other Tech/Design specific courses.
If you’ve made until here, I want to tell you…
Friends and Colleagues: First, A HUGE THANK YOU! I’m really grateful for absolutely everything you taught me! Add me on LinkedIn and follow me on Twitter, let’s keep in touch!
Family: ‘‘Eu tenho tanto, pra lhe falar mas com palavras, não sei dizer.’’
My wife (I know she’s family but this is specially for her): You make all difficult situations become easy! I love loving you!
If you don’t know me but liked the idea: I DARE YOU! (not to quit your job, but to go after what you want)
