Just a quick test to see what this looks like, how does medium handle animated gifs, large ones at that. I think its going to be grainy. Anyway I see a very popular design theme these days is the text on video… I like it but it can be noisy…

It looks like you can use animated gifs as backgrounds for medium posts but the colour overlay is very buggy — it needs to loop through the entire gif to apply it. Surely this should be a separate overlay?

Anyway I hope it looks cool…
