I’d go even further and say he suggests ALL cultures have a bias. Particularly if you are the dominant culture. Asian cultures are like that. Middle eastern cultures are like that. That’s the way things are in the world. That doesn’t seem to be a pretty big assumption. In this particular case, we’re discussing black and white biases. And to me I read both black and white biases. Not just white’s. But that’s me because when I do read things or have these types of discussions I DO try to hear, see and listen from another’s perspective.

I don’t just shut down and get defensive because there may be a single point I disagree with. Complete idiocy shuts me down.
