Nice post, but I, as a person, slightly disagree with the responses. If you place a Green Smoothie on my table and ask me “Wanna drink it?”, I will first smell it and if I like the smell I will taste it a little, and finally will drink it up if I like the taste. I will not bother about the back-story of how you came up with the seemingly amazing idea of making a green smoothie. If I have to be spoon fed/guided to be enthusiastic about everything I will be trying for the first time in my life, then it will be a grave situation and will prove the lack of my curiosity. Which is not the case at all. If the smoothie smells nice and the first sip plays well with my taste bud, then I am game. My curiosity and the immediate memory of a good taste and smell, will drive me to gulp it all. If I get to know how you came up with the new idea afterwards, then this is definitely a plus. I can even share my ideas when we will be discussing that. (“Why don’t you try to put a hint of Ginger in it?”) But that is not a prerequisite for me.
