The last day was remarkable!

Imagination is powerful! Dream big!

Roya Mahboob shared with the audience how was her childhood at Afghanistan, the episodes when Taliban burned the books and forbid females to have formal education and also how she changed lives through technology and education.

Helped us to think about the way we are behaving as human being and with other people. Also how education and technology can change lives.

We also had the opportunity to listen the stories from the Afghan Girls Robotics team. How these girls are making the difference and how they are influencing and saying to other girls that they can make it. 👏👏👏👏

Following you can find Marianne Duijst's tsketchnote about this awesome keynote.

The gym bro talk

After tons of emotion, that was time to see a really funny way to talk about testing. Matthew Heusser (or our gym bro :-P) drove the audience to think about if we do even (need) to automate (the GUI). Below you can find some of my notes:

  • We need to understand what are our strengths and weakness so we can work in improvements
  • The bottleneck is not testing is fixing bugs
  • Invest more in test that validate the components of the application
  • Try to start deploying components/pages instead of the entire application
  • Invest in Continuous monitoring
  • Also in Contract tests

Life is a story. This is mine!

Janet Gregory is a reference when we talk about Agile Testing. In the Pivotal Moments keynote, Janet shared with the audience milestones of her personal and professional lives. Here is some of the valuable tips she shared:

  • Make choices that matter to you
  • Do not have fear of do things
  • Have soft skills are great! You can make it by life experiences/lessons
  • Don’t be afraid to fail
  • Don’t be afraid to share your failure
  • Find your support groups. They will help you to grow
  • Ask for feedback
  • Go outside you comfort zone!!!!!

THE END

After Janet's keynote, José Díaz thanked everyone who attended to Agile Testing Days, the speakers and also all the team responsible for the organization.

He also talked about the Agile Testing Days USA that will happen in June 25–29, 2018 in Boston.
