Ok, now I have highlight the part of your speech that I find offensive. It is not that you have pointed out JavaScript’s limitations, wich they exist, is the way how you have structured your fictitious conversation which I find so offensive. Those chained questions with that final “really?!” With both exclamation and question marks look like some kind of condescence in my opinion. Such problems should be so evident that anyone with a minimum of intelligence should realize himself, so instead of explaining then you just get surprised and gave up about the topic. At the end, if you haven’t found such problems you are not probably building real applications with JavaScript (does anyone do it in fact ?) and taking the time to explain it to you will be a waste of your time. Please, if that was not your intention point me in the right direction. If you don’t find the section that I have highlighted offensive at all maybe it is a matter of our cultures being different, which is totally fine .
