Physical Letter to Korean army’s chief of staff, Jang Jun-Gyu
Article 92–5, Military Penal Code of Korea(MPCK) regulates “sodomy or any other sexual contacts between military service members” as a crime. I wrote an letter to the Korean army’s chief of staff to appeal about abolishing Article 92–5 and I also addressed Captain A who got sentenced 6 months for having a physical relation outside of the army. South Korea has conscription system which means whether homosexual male go to the army or not, they will get punished for something anyways. My sustained argument is about supporting LGBTQ+ youth and I thought this would be the best method to appeal about my topic.
- Captain A got sentenced 6 moths on May 23rd 2017.
