Generally police have tort immunity, thus alleviating the need for liablity insurance. It’s something that needs to be changed from a public policy standpoint, because this immunity allows them to act with near impunity.

I agree that taxpayers shouldn’t be burdened, but so long as our criminal “justice” system is predicated on white supremacy, and enforcing the class interests of the ownership class, we will continue to see police violence perpetrated, as in the case supra, where two individuals suffered their wrath.
