I like that you mention early socialization and motto's that are taught to children. I believe how we socialize children stays with them for a majority of their life. Such as sayings like “boys don’t cry”. I also agree with the theory of functionalism. Our society is developed through the socialization of people and we would not develop with out socialization. Do you believe that we should not instill as many idea and motto’s into children until they are older?
