An Internet Classroom for Students
Is a free application developed by google, especially made for students and professors to easily communicate to each other for lessons purposes. The professors can send lessons and other documents to the students through this application.
It's been active since 2014 which is available for iOs, android and Web. Together with Google Drive, Google Docs, Sheets and Slides, and Gmail together to help educational institutions go to a paperless system. Google Calendar was later integrated to help with assignment due dates, field trips, and class speakers.
Professors can announce in google classroom that would automatically notify every students in the classroom. They could also upload a file such as powerpoints about the lesson they discuss or they about to discuss in the next meeting.
They could also post assignment and set a deadline so that no students could pass late because the assignment would automatically set off or any students could no longer submit their assignment.
Professors can also post quizzes in which they could also set a time on how long they could only take it. This google classroom is very simple to operate and very convenient to almost everyone, and one of its advantage is that you can post larger files and it could be uploaded for a short period of time.
After submitting the assignments Professors could also grade the these and be seen by the students. Google classroom also have a features where you could create any type of documents on the very application.
The only thing it needed is for the user to have a google amount and the user would automatically have a google classroom. In order to join classes a code must be given by the professors because they are the one who’ll create it. It is either they would provide a classroom code or they would invite you in their classroom.
