Chapter 4: Ruled by Rape

I agree with your statement about education not being the answer. Many of these girls do not have access to education and even if they did, they still have a lot of other problems that can’t just be solved with education. The problems these women face are complex. The behavior and responses talked about in this chapter are problems routed in the culture of these countries. So my question is: How do you complete reconstruct a culture? Unfortunately it seems to be that the only answer to raise and train a generation that will not have to suffer through this kind of treatment and let the other endure this pain so that others don’t have to. It’s a very slippery slope.
