Easter Egg

From the official White House Easter Egg Roll to celebrating the holiday with friends and family, President and Mrs. Reagan enjoyed observing the Easter holiday. As he wrote in 1981, he wanted all who celebrated Easter a time filled with joy and spiritual fulfillment with the hope that one day men and women everywhere would be able to worship God in the manner of their choosing.

This Fabergé -style Easter egg was presented to President Reagan in the Oval Office in 1987 by the president of Constellations Inc., where it then went on display in the Reagan White House.

This White House egg is made of blue enamel and 24k gold over silver, and has a secret inside its golden yolk. Inside the egg is a model of the White House. It has 13 stars on the egg and the great seal on the clasp.
