In the television show Leave It To Beaver, the Cleavers were a 1950s all-American family living in the fictional town of Mayfield. Parents Ward and June, and older brother Wally, tried to keep Theodore, the Beaver, out of trouble.
However, Beaver continued to end up in one kind of jam or another in every episode. Instigator and troublemaker Eddie Haskell, played by Ken Osmond, was the older neighbor kid who always managed to avoid being caught.
This blue letterman’s sweater, lettered “Mayfield High”, and personalized with President Reagan embroidered above the “M” was a gift of Ken Osmond, or troublemaker Eddie Haskell, to the President. He gifted it to the president at a luncheon held for members of the national republican senatorial committee in 1987.
