There’s an argument to be made for Universal Basic Income as a way to stimulate the freelancing economy. More people would be willing to give up the day job and go all-in on their passions if they had a financial safety net to keep them from splatting on Skid Row. Failure is great, as long as it doesn’t wreck you.
