Acria is the first crypto project to win the German Innovation Award by the German Government. Acria has been featured by CNBC for their novel staking protocol that allows to stake coins like DOGE, XRP, ADA, BTC, and many more. Acria is multi-chain and there are currently prototypes for Ethereum, BSC, Polkadot, and Cardano.

What is ACRIA?

One of the most pressing issues when developing smart contracts is the lack of real-world data. But due to technical limitations, such as the consensus protocol, no blockchain has been able to solve this major limitation.

The Acria Network aims to solve exactly this problem with the help of so-called oracle nodes. In addition to that, it aims to implement cross-chain support to supply various blockchains with real-world data.

An important advantage of the Acria Network compared to common solutions (like Chainlink) is the complete lack of middlemen. This in turn increases the quality and trustworthiness of the data provided. In Acria the data provider is directly incentivized to deliver the best data quality. This means that the data provider himself is also the node operator and earns all the platform fees. An additional staking protocol makes it possible to stake different cryptocurrencies like DOGE, XRP, ETH, BTC, ADA, and many more.

CNBC mentioned the project for the staking protocol that makes it possible to even stake DOGE, a coin that is highly popular by younger investors. This staking protocol also implements a decentralized trust network (the higher the stake for an oracle node the more trusted the oracle node is) and is also an opportunity for token holders to earn passive income.

Awarded by the German Government

Acria is the first crypto project to be awarded the German Innovation Award. This award is granted directly by the German Government. Usually, companies like SAP or BMW win this prestigious award. This year Acria won this Award for their innovative design to solve the oracle problem. The CEO Dominik Ernst presented the prototype and the source code to the jury and was able to become the first crypto founder awarded the German Innovation Award.

Acria also did collaborations with other big projects like MakerDAO, Polygon, and Litecoin.

Potential

Acria has great potential and can become a serious player in the cryptocurrency space. Chainlink currently has a market cap of around 9 billion USD. So there is a huge potential for multi-chain oracle solutions like Acria to reach even higher market cap numbers. Acria already has support from the mainstream media and the German Government, so Acria should be able to easily reach a market cap in the billions once the project goes live.
