New York based Steeve Verna was so inspired by Nike’s 30th anniversary “Just Do It” campaign, that the artist created a collection of his own.

The collection includes images of NBA star LeBron James, four-time tennis gold medalist Serena Williams, wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., and the man that has racists nationwide burning their Air Klan 5’s, Colin Kaepernick.

The artwork was inspired by Nike‘s decision to feature Kaepernick in the campaign despite the fact that the company has a huge partnership with the NFL — an organization that’s been under fire from those that agree with and condemn the two season long protest over the national anthem started by Kaepernick in 2016.

The drawings depict the faces of the athletes, all of whom have endorsement agreements with Nike, on the end of the notable “Swoosh” logo. The artist hints that there may be additions including NBA pro Kevin Durant and Comedian Kevin Hart.

Steeve Verna has loads of sports & hip hop inspired artwork on his social media pages, so be sure to check him out and follow!
